GB£10,000,000 products and public liability cover is included with Gold Plus membership of The Guild of Jewellery Designers and The British Pearl Association.
You will be responsible for paying the first £250 of any claim for damage to third-party property. You will also be responsible for the first £2,500 of any claim brought in the USA or Canada.
Yes, cover for sales worldwide, including the USA and Canada, is included at no extra charge.
Our policy is specifically designed for sole traders and small Limited companies who make and sell hand crafted products. Products can be made using mass produced components bought in, but the product end result must be classed as 'hand made' or 'hand crafted'. Please see the PPL Policy Summary to ensure our cover is suitable for your needs.
This policy is only operative while you are undertaking the designing, making, exhibition or sale of jewellery and other craftworks or the teaching of craft making skills. You will be insured within the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man and while temporarily engaged in Business outside these territories.
