As a Supplier partner or trade supplier, you may receive notifications that a member would like access to trade pricing and/or Gold member discounted prices.
After verifying that the member is a subscribing Gold member, click on the link in the notification email (eg. the front end link). If you're logged in, the link will take you to the application. Firstly the wholesale level will need to be changed and the special Gold member wholesale level is level 3. If the member isn't a subscribing Gold member you can set it to level 1.
Wholesale levels are usually set on an individual product basis and there are 3 levels for trade pricing; level 3 is reserved for subscribing Gold members and usually attracts the extra discount for Gold members; depending on what trade discounts you offer, set the wholesale level to the applicant's status.
Secondly, the applicant's discount status needs to be activated after you have confirmed that they are eligible for the discount. The ability to check the member status will soon be available using the member search facility (modification in progress) so you will be able to see at a glance that they are a verified subscribing member.
After setting the wholesale level, scroll down the page to the bottom and click the 'Manage Member Wholesalers' button, in the list that follows you will see the option to activate members by clicking on the green 'thumbs up' icon - then agree and save.
To view the list of your wholesaler trade members, click on the 'Member Wholesalers' link in your 'My Member Account' links dropdown.
