With over 25 years in the jewellery industry, my design experience is extensive - I have a passion for jewellery design with the ability to create inspirational products. Having designed at both end of the spectrum – fine and fashion jewellery, I have the advantage of developing commercial, ‘on trend’ collections, encompassing a clients ideas and inspiration. I have very good CAD design skills on Illustrator and photoshop as well as great hand drawing ability. For the last 10 years I have worked as a freelance designer, working with a number of jewellery brands in the UK, Singapore, Australia and the USA. Due to the broad range of my experience, I can turn my hand to designing fine jewellery using precious metals and gems stones, but I am equally comfortable designing in base metal with crystals and enamel. Previous experience involved working with UK high street fashion brands, Sterling silver brand Hot Diamonds and fine jewellers Ernest Jones, Goldsmiths and independent jeweller Jess James in London. I also have supplier base management skills, as well as graphic design and packaging experience, helping brands develop new concepts, branding and digital presence.
