Coming from a family of art teachers, milliners and theatrical dress designers reaching back four generations, it's no surprise that creativity is in my DNA. 
 
I studied promotional graphic design, advertising and photography at Berkshire College of Art and Design. I then went on to run my own advertising and graphic design business.  Then, having spent many years plying my trade in visual and written marketing and internal communications for FTSE 100 corporations, I realised I had strayed too far from my creative roots. 
 
Studying jewellery and silversmithing with award-winning jewellers, and leaning on my previous business knowledge, led me to launch a range of jewellery from my Somerset studio. 
 
My sources of inspiration are numerous, from flora and fauna to architectural. But my aim is simply to create items that are both beautiful and easy to wear, using traditional silver working techniques, such as piercing, forging and casting.
